DIGITAL & ECOMMERCE EXECUTIVE
We are recruiting a highly proactive and organised Digital & E-Commerce Executive who can support our Head of Marketing to develop and execute our digital strategy, along with optimising our e-commerce website to create a high-quality website experience.
The Candidate:
The Digital & E-Commerce Executive role will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and development of the business’ e-commerce website in order to create a high-quality website experience, that also achieves its sales targets, alongside supporting the delivery of the marketing strategy in a small and growing team. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll play a hands-on role in bringing our digital strategy to life across various channels, enhancing our brand awareness and customer acquisition. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in e-commerce website maintenance and optimisation, and experience of using platforms such as WordPress and Hubspot is preferable. The ideal candidate should have a creative flair, an understanding data analytics and an entrepreneurial mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day maintenance of the e-commerce website and social media channels
- Maintain the integrity of data and content across our platforms
- Work with the Head of Marketing to develop and execute the digital content and social media strategy to drive brand awareness and customer acquisition to achieve targets
- Identify and apply relevant digital consumer & e-com trends and insights to help drive our KPIs and to keep Cru Wine ahead of key competitors. We are a small, dynamic company where ideas are welcome
- Own the digital monthly report and analysis across all platforms
- Work with the Head of Marketing to manage third-party suppliers for SEO and PPC
- Work with the Head of Marketing to conduct regular analysis and tracking of both online & offline lead generation campaigns to problem solve delivery issues and inform ongoing best practice
- Support the broader sales team with promotional campaigns
Experience & Skills Required:
- Demonstratable 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- A strong understanding of e-commerce and the digital customer purchase journey
- Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Hubspot)
- Experience in working with external consultants and agencies
- Understand the principles of SEO and CRM
- Excellent attention to detail with a flair for writing engaging content
- Ability to use design tools (such as Canva) for Social Media asset creation
- Highly organised and customer focused with a desire to succeed with a thriving brand
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication and knowledge of MS Office packages
- Proficient in English
- WSET Level 1 or above preferred but not essential
