An Unforgettable Evening in Monaco with Château Angélus
On Monday, February 26, 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting an exclusive Château Angélus Tasting in Monaco, bringing together some of our most esteemed clients and friends for an unforgettable experience. Organized by Quentin, Gregory, Alice, and Hazel, the evening was a celebration of exceptional wines, exquisite cuisine, and great company.
Held at My Way 2, a hidden gem beloved by Monaco’s wine connoisseurs, the intimate setting provided the perfect backdrop for an extraordinary tasting of Château Angélus’ finest vintages. We were honored to be joined by Bong, Export Director, and Stéphanie, CEO of Château Angélus, who expertly guided us through the rich history and meticulous craftsmanship behind each bottle.
A Remarkable Château Angélus Wine Tasting Experience
Guests were treated to a vertical tasting of some of the most outstanding vintages from Château Angélus, each offering a unique expression of the estate’s signature elegance and power:
- 2019 – A youthful and vibrant vintage, showcasing lush fruit, refined tannins, and remarkable balance. A clear standout for future aging potential.
- 2014 – Beautifully structured and complex, with layers of dark berries, spice, and delicate floral notes that captivated the palate.
- 2012 – Silky and harmonious, offering refined tobacco and ripe fruit flavors, culminating in an elegant, lingering finish.
- 2009 – Opulent and bold, this vintage impressed with its velvety texture, deep flavors, and impressive depth.
- 2005 – A true masterpiece, demonstrating remarkable power, finesse, and complexity, with a finish that lingered long after the last sip. According to many guests, the 2005 vintage was the clear winner of the night, displaying unparalleled depth and elegance that left a lasting impression.
Fine Dining Meets Château Angélus Wines
To complement the evening’s exquisite wines, guests indulged in a four-course gourmet menu, each dish thoughtfully paired to highlight the nuances of the vintages. The interplay between the cuisine and the wines elevated the tasting experience, turning the night into an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
