2018 Stella di Campalto (Podere S.Giuseppe), Brunello di Montalcino, Bosco 1x150cl

The farm and the rugged and poetic lands that surround it was a wedding gift. A ruin and an abandoned land for over half a century, situated in this corner of the Val d'Orcia, below Castelnuovo dell’Abate, a part of Tuscany positioned between Mount Amiata on the east and the Maremma hills on the west. The decision to follow a natural agriculture was clear to them right from the beginning. Since 2002 they have embraced biodynamics as a path which, with observance of its principles, allows them to obtain a wine that is an expression of the genius loci (protective spirit of a place) of San Giuseppe. Each of the nine vineyards can be considered a small Cru with its own personality and character. Each is harvested individually. The result is to obtain strong and tasty grapes that express every year differently and are strictly tied to the terroir.
