The 2021 Rauzan Gassies turned out beautifully. Dark and layered, with lovely mid-palate balance and creaminess, the 2021 is super-expressive today. Black cherry, leather, spice, menthol, licorice and mocha build effortlessly. This dark, pliant Margaux has much to offer.

78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot.Mid ruby. Fragrant, with a blend of cherry blossom and slightly herbal edges. The palate is a little dilute, with cherry-drop notes cut by acids. The tannins remain in the background to make this approachable, but the medium finish suggests this is best drunk sooner rather than later. (TP)
