The 2021 Chemin Des Moines de Vergy is pure Pinot Noir from a three-hectare parcel. The nose is a little stoic at the moment - dark berry fruit, just a touch of brown spices. The palate is medium-bodied with silky tannins, nothing complex, the one-third new oak is neatly integrated on the slightly one-dimensional finish.
