Subtle nose of lemon-spiked raw pastry and a harmonious palate of incredible finesse. Scented and perfumed notes of lemon balm, shortbread and lemon zest fill the mind and senses. Utter elegance and happiness follows.

This continues to make its case as the top Cuvée Nicolas François of recent times, showing brilliant harmony and balance with no signs of slowing down at 21 years of age. Theres the richness of truffle honey on buttered toast, pineapple tarte tatin and cooked apricots, with fresh and tart strawberry Pinot fragrance still intact. A beautiful toasty citrus focus on the palate, which boasts a serene, perfectly shaped intensity. Entering a fine phase for drinking over the next five to 10 years. Made from 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, with 19% barrel fermentation. Disgorged in 2019.
