52% Sauvignon Blanc, 48% Sémillon. Cask sample. Still quite cloudy. Low-key nose. Then quite a strict, dry palate. Very refreshing and lively. Verging on the Sancerre style favoured by Cheval Blanc and Lafleur! May age better than some. Distinctive and quite long.

The 2022 Latour-Martillac Blanc strides confidently out of the glass with pronounced notes of spiced apples, juicy peaches, and green mango, followed by hints of lime leaves and chalk dust. The medium-bodied palate delivers great intensity, with a refreshing line and long, zesty finish.
