CRITIC REVIEWS
James Suckling
Lots of burnt orange peel, nutmeg, hazelnut and ripe/dried strawberry aromas follow through to a medium to full body, with firm and linear tannins and a fresh and vivid finish. Energetic and fine. Better after 2027.

Monforte d’Alba. Mid ruby. Very sweet, seductive fruit on the nose leads into quite a marked tannic palate, despite the apparently featherlight body which belies the alcohol level! Dry char on the end but no heat. This should make great old bones but isn’t ready yet.
