CRITIC REVIEWS

Most of Bruno Clairs large parcel of Bonnes-Mares is planted to old vines that stretch from the bottom of the slope to the top in Morey-Saint-Denis. This produces a wine with more weight than the perfumed Chambolle side of the vineyard, with a profoundly rich black plum and mulberry fruit that opens with time to show spice, mineral and saline notes. The initial impression is so velvety that only with time does one notice the massive tannic structure here.
