Like its big brother, Echo de Lynch-Bages displays the characteristic taste, aromas and length of Pauillac wines. As an echo of the first wine, it receives the same care and attention from the vine to the cellars. It is the result of a selection of Lynch-Bages’ youngest vines and specific plots which represent between 25 to 40 % of the harvest depending on the vintage. Echo de Lynch-Bages is round, soft and seductive in its youth with outstanding potential for bottle age.

A blend of 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 31% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, the 2022 Echo de Lynch-Bages is deep garnet-purple in color. It tumbles from the glass with open-knit scents of plum preserves, mince pie, and Indian spices, with hints of menthol, rose oil, and dusty soil. The medium-bodied palate delivers a firm, chewy texture and oodles of freshness to support the baked berries and exotic spice layers, finishing long. pH 3.69, TPI 91.

Revealing aromas of cassis, licorice, pipe tobacco and loamy soil, the 2022 Echo de Lynch-Bages is medium to full-bodied, rich and fleshy, with a deep core of fruit and plenty of chewy tannin. It shares much of the style of the grand vin this year, and its one second wine that will reward a bit of patience.

Cru Wine stores all its wines in-bond with LCB Eton Park. Deliveries to private customers within mainland UK are charged at £18 plus VAT, utilising London City Bond (LCB) transfer. This excludes Northern Ireland, Islands and Highlands. Deliveries outside of the UK Mainland will incur additional delivery charges, we will contact you to advise after your order has been placed.
When choosing your Shipping Method, if you would like to keep the wine stored in-bond, please select "1 Month Free Storage at LCB Eton Park". This also applies to wines which are currently En Primeur as these are not available for immediate delivery. Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. If you would like your wines delivered, please select "Private Home Delivery in the UK". Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address.
