A rich and layered Barbaresco with cedar and plums, as well as light leather and rose aromas that follow to a full yet balanced palate and a chewy finish. Very polished. Drink in 2020, but already beautiful.

Plenty of perfume on the nose, dried cranberry, tobacco leaf, and bitter-cherry notes. Really quite light in body, with strident acid and very finely buffed tannic grip – firm but approachable. Delicate aromatic quality, with a juniper note to finish. A little dilute, but the quality of flavours is very good. (RH)
