Another great rosé from this estate, the 2019 Tavel Cuvee La Reine Des Bois sports a classic Tavel deep raspberry hue yet is still a graceful, incredibly elegant rosé that offers lots of raspberry and framboise fruit as well as plenty of white flowers and spice, medium to full body, perfect balance between its acidity and fruit, and clean, dry finish. It’s as classy and elegant as rosé gets! Drink it over the coming year or so.

Deep pink. Some genuine intensity of aroma here: cherry, redcurrant and strawberry. Full-bodied, rounded and generous with plenty of weight on the mid-palate and a little fresh, sapid touch to the finish. Plenty of fruit into the length. Old vine Grenache (60%), Clairette (15%), Cinsault (10%), Syrah (10%), Bourboulenc (5%) grown organically on the galets roulés of the Plateau de Vallongue. All hand-harvested, 48 hours maceration then fermented in stainless steel.
