The 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaux Saint-Jacques (Domaine Louis Jadot) opens in the glass with aromas of cherries, cassis and plums, complemented by hints of smoke and toasty new oak. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and charming, its bright and elegant, with fine tannins and a long, mineral finish.
