Such an expressive nose, especially after five minutes, dark black bramble fruits with raisins and plums on the nose alongside touches of tobacco and coffee too. Quite refined on the palate, less upfront plump fruit and chewiness, more knitted and focussed with a juicy core yet still powerful, underlying and driving. Its serious, muscular and strong, really a vein of direct fruit coated in wet stone minerality. I love the tension and acidity with the heady density of fruit and soft perfume around the edges. So much going on here. Its a bold, confident style, but overall feels well made and purposeful.

Excellent quality Pavie, rippling with black fruits. Notably more subdued than in some vintages as the team looks to reframe just slightly the bulging muscles of the past, and as the high levels of Cabernet Sauvignon and Franc make an impact. It takes a moment to adjust to, but when you sit with it, you feel a rippling frame to the wine, and a juicy central core. Fleshy cassis and blackberry fruits, slate walls and black truffle overlay. Is going to age extremely well. A yield of 29hl/ha. 3.55pH.

This also applies to wines which are currently En Primeur as these are not available for immediate delivery. Storage charges will apply if you choose to store your wines with us. If you would like your wines delivered, please select "Private Home Delivery in the UK". Duty and VAT will be applied if you choose to have your wines delivered to a UK address.
