CRITIC REVIEWS
Tom Parker MW
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Malbec, 17% Carmenère, 6% Petit Verdot. Aged 22 months, 90% in French oak barrels (70% new) and 10% in foudres. A bright purple colour with pure cassis, mint and cinnamon on the nose. The palate is silky, the ultra-refined tannins cloaked in beautifully preserved black fruit. There is a zest to the acidity that matches the riper tones of fruit nicely. Licks of sweet spice are well judged. This is very well made, with a long, harmonious finish. (TP)

Full bottle 1,427 g. Bit heavy! 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Malbec, 17% Carmenère, 6% Petit Verdot. Aged 22 months, 90% in French oak barrels (70% new) and 10% in foudres. Deep crimson. Luscious fruit but real lift. Theres that Chilean green/chocolate thing (Carmenère?) but overall its a satisfying wine made with sensitivity from ripe but not too-ripe grapes. Dry, appetising finish.
