LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
We are recruiting a highly motivated Logistics Coordinator with an entrepreneurial mindset to join our growing Operations team. Â
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working within highly motivated team to exceed the company’s monthly targets. A strong work ethic is necessary, and an entrepreneurial mindset is a plus. The candidate will work from our London office and join our growing Operations team reporting into the Chief Operating Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day logistical operations of the company
- Ensuring the safe movement and storage of our £15million+ of wine under management
- Working with the COO to manage relationships with our partner warehouses, 3PL providers, suppliers, and customers
Tracking tax implications for import/export of alcohol for all markets of operation - Negotiating transport rates to optimise the logistical cost per bottle
- Improving Customer Satisfaction through bettering the company’s fulfilment of service
- Reporting on Lead Times both internally & externally
Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven and successful operational experience
- Highly motivated and autonomous
- Customer Focused
- An understanding of fine wine
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and working with data - Effective communicator
- Previous experience importing & exporting excise goods preferred but not essential
- Managerial experience is a plus
- French speaking preferred but not essential
