Tasted single blind at Southwold. A showy, lifted nose with blackberry, cherry liqueur and cassis although it does lack complexity. A very lithe entry on the palate, soft tannins, nice acidity, very generous now with an earthy, savoury finish. Slips down the throat, but it could do with more backbone so pleasurable early drinking. Drink now-2015. Tasted January 2009.

Tasted blind. Mid crimson. Lifted nose. Big and round and evolved on the palate. Not that ambitious but a very nice wine to enjoy already.
