90% Pinot Noir from Verzenay, Verzy, Ambonnay, Bouzy and Aÿ and 10% Chardonnay from Avize and Mesnil-sur-Oger, tinted with 13% Pinot Noir red wine from Clicquot's historic Clos Colin parcel in Bouzy. Dosage 6 g/l. No disgorgement date officially given but the back is stamped with '03/23'. Mid strawberry colour - nothing like a Provence pink! Interesting, complex, savoury nose and then raspberry fruit followed by a dry, mineral finish. Lots of ingredients here but still a bit too young. Hint of cough medicine. Much more complex than the Jansz Vintage Rosé 2017 I'm tasting alongside but less ready. (JR)
