The 2016 Barolo Riserva Vigna Rionda comes across as a bit delicate and reserved today. I fully expect it will flesh out more with time in bottle. There s plenty of understated power just waiting to emerge. Lavender, mint, cloves and mocha play off a core of sensual Rionda fruit in style.
