CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2017 Leonardo, a passito-styled Ribolla Gialla, opens with an intense wave of cinnamon-infused apricots and peaches, sweet mint and crushed navel orange. It is weighty and glycerol in feel, with ultra-ripe orchard fruits offset by candied citrus tones as a collection of saline minerals adds lovely balance. The finish is long yet still fresh, leaving a minty herbal air that lingers.
