The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Feusselottes is the ripest wine in the cellar this year, checking in at 14.2% alcohol, and the fermentation took a long time to finish; indeed, the wine only went to barrel in December. The Mugneret sisters' attentive vindication, however, has resulted in a superb cuvee that bursts from the glass with a lavish bouquet of raspberries, red cherries, rose petals, blood orange and warm spices. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, layered and enveloping, with lively acids, superb concentration and a sun-kissed sweetness of fruit that reflects the vintage.
