The 2018 Trasnocho was produced from the first pressing of Remírez de Ganuza. This was extracted overnight using a water-filled balloon. Garnet in hue, it offers notes of plum, blackberry, balsamic hints, mint and forest floor. Dry, with a more structured frame than usual for Remírez and a slightly firmer tannin profile, it's similar in flavor but with a sturdier shape resulting in a bold, well-defined Rioja.
