The 2020 Pinot Noir exudes elegance and restraint, with plenty of fruit and a gentleness that reflects hands-off winemaking. The precise, finessed texture reminds me of soluble aspirin in an appetizing way. The oak is 100% new, but you wouldn't know that from its intense fruit concentration. It is seamlessly integrated thanks to low levels of toast. The 2020 culminates in an extraordinarily long finish.

The lighter end of Pinot Noir in its lifted red-fruit and rose-petal fragrance. Very gentle chew on the finish. Moderate length that has unrealised complexity - worth waiting for. (RH)
