CRITIC REVIEWS
Neal Martin
The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Morgeots 1er Cru has an attractive brioche-tinged bouquet with lime and light tangerine aromas. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, quite taut and saline with impressive weight and girth on the finish. Some lovely dry extract here lending umami. This is a wonderful Morgeots.

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot unwinds in the glass with aromas of pear, citrus zest, fresh mint and warm bread. Medium to full-bodied, rich and concentrated, its satiny attack segues into a layered, tightly wound core framed by bright acids and chalky structuring extract. As ever, it's a benchmark rendition of this site.
