The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Collezione Privata is another stunning wine from the Paolo de Marchi era at Isole e Olena. It offers tons of varietal character, vertical structure and class to burn. It is also a very, very young wine to bury in the deepest corner of the cellar. Dark red-toned fruit, dried flowers, leather, menthol and rose petal all soar out of the glass. It's a reminder of how magical the 2020 harvest was here. Readers lucky enough to find it will be thrilled.
