CRITIC REVIEWS
Neal Martin
Raised entirely in new oak with all its stems, the 2020 Chambertin Clos-de-Beze Grand Cru has a tough job following the crystalline Les Amoureuses. Almost opaque at first, this whole bunch imparts a strong pepperiness, with a light charcoal scent in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh with a slightly chalky textured, sorbet-fresh finish. Afford this 5-8 years in bottle.
