Antonio Galloni
The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a very pretty, understated wine. Crushed red berry fruit, blood orange, spice, cedar and sweet pipe tobacco open first, brightened by lively, salivating acids. This mid-weight, polished Cabernet Sauvignon is all charm.

Full bottle 1,625 g. 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot from their four-acre Calistoga vineyard. 750 cases produced. Mid purplish crimson. Quite a nicely married nose but a bit too sweet on palate entry to be refreshing. Then rather pinched on the sudden finish. (JR)
