CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru has a delightful heartwarming nose with ample redcurrant and raspberry fruit, touches of undergrowth and allspice. It has fine presence and delineation and blossoms in the glass. The palate is well balanced with finely chiselled tannins. This is poised and focused with a keen line of acidity and attractive citrus-fresh dark plummy fruit on the finish. An excellent Morey-Saint-Denis for the vintage. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
