2022 Chateau Beychevelle 4eme Cru Classe, Saint-Julien 6x75cl

A triumphant galley sweeps across the front of Château Beychevelle’s bottle, which pays homage to its 16th century ownership under Duc d’Epernon, Admiral of France. Today, the Château continues its unvanquished legacy, by creating a highly respected signature wine renowned for its rounded, lavish flavour which is occasionally punctuated by hints of chocolate. This is a luxurious wine, whose vineyards comprise an abundant mixture of Cabernet Sauvignon (c.52%), Merlot (c.40%), Cabernet Franc (c.5%) and Petit Verdot (c.3%) to form its sumptuous ruby-red colour. Often known as the “Versailles of the Medoc”, Beychevelle is a grand estate that continues to support cutting-edge contemporary art through the Beychevelle Foundation.
