The 2022 Fombrauge offers red plum and blackberry on the nose, pressed iris flowers, with raspberry coming through with time. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannins. Structured, quite tannic, but there is freshness here, with a touch of sapidity on the finish. Needs serious time. Tasted blind at the Southwold tasting in London.
