CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2022 Chambertin Grand Cru is blessed with a well-defined bouquet with delineated, quite effervescent red fruit that leaps from the glass. The medium-bodied palate is cohesive with sapid red fruit, good body and density and a dash of white pepper towards the finish. This is easily the best of the Domaine's 2022s, predictable as that reads, but that's the way it is. Excellent.

Cask sample. Much more extroverted than the Latricières. Dark cherry/kirsch/black plum to the fore. Concentrated, long, fine tannins to finish. Super-classy but certainly needs a few years. (AWH)
