The 2022 L'Esprit de Chevalier Blanc has a well-defined bouquet with lemon zest, freshly-sliced pear and orange rind. Good complexity for a Deuxieme Vin. The palate is well balanced with a pithy entry, peach skin and lemongrass touches. The 2022 is complex and focused with a fine persistence on the finish. This is a strong showing in a vintage, not necessarily geared toward the dry whites.
