A blend of Les Murgers and Vignerondes, the 2023 Nuits Saint-Georges 1er Cru has a nicely composed, slightly exotic bouquet that manages to maintain delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweet entry. This is quite a powerful Nuits Saint-Georges. The 50% new oak leaves the finish a little woody, though it should be subsumed with time. Fine.
