CRITIC REVIEWS
Neal Martin
The 2023 Chambertin Grand Cru, though somewhat predictable, is bridled with the finest aromatics amongst Rossignol-Trapet's range in this vintage: ebullient red fruit, rose petals and hints of clementine. The palate is medium-bodied with silky-smooth tannins-not as concentrated as, say, Rousseau's Chambertin that I had tasted less than an hour earlier, but tensile with just the right amount of spice toward the finish. This is very composed and will drink earlier than its peers.
