The 2023 Poggio alle Gazze, Ornellaia s Sauvignon Blanc-based white, is bright and nicely focused. Orchard fruit, citrus peel, sage, mint and chalk show lovely energy in a mid-weight style that is quite appealing. I would prefer to drink this over the next few years. There's lovely energy and dimension here. The blend is 53% Sauvignon Blanc, 37% Vermentino, 7% Viognier and 3% Semillon.
