CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Village comes from purchased grapes from five different plots that are co-fermented. Matured in 30% new oak, it has a relatively lighter bouquet with dark berries, bay leaf and light pencil shaving scents, a little Morey-like. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, well balanced and straightforward, but there is admirable purity of fruit. Just missing a bit of grip on the finish but otherwise this constitutes decent early drinking.
