CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2024 Vosne-Romanee Les Chaumes 1er Cru was reduced from three to two tanks, a ferment of the two plots separately and then blended together. Raised in 60% new oak, you might be deceived into thinking there are a few stems in the mix but of course, there is none. Dark berry fruit, again that signature tea leaf note, more sous-bois. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. Plenty of freshness, quite open and generous with a fresh, quite sapid finish that leaves you wanting more. A lovely if early-drinking Chaumes.
