Wines sold En Primeur will be released from the producer after bottling, typically 18 months after campaign ends. Once shipped, your wine will be stored by Cru Wine in a bonded warehouse until you decide to take delivery.

The 2024 Clos de Vougeot le Grand Maupertui Grand Cru has a fragrant, perfumed bouquet with rose petal-infused red cherry and strawberry fruit, all delivered with fine definition. The palate is medium-bodied with a veneer of oak on the entry that will need time to be subsumed. Fine weight, quite spicy towards the finish, this deserves a couple of years in bottle but it should come good once it coheres.
