The 2024 Nuits Saint-Georges Les Chaliots has a reserved nose that is light and just missing a bit of fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with a welcome smooth entry. Modest weight, the new oak nicely integrated, sorbet fresh like others with (again) a rather truncated finish. Drink over the next six to ten years.

Cask sample. Red/black-berry fruit allied with fine-grained tannins and subtle oak. Pure flavours, plenty of freshness and elegance. A fine village Nuits, which has the concentration to age well for five years. (AWH)
