Tasting Comments
“As always, this is super refined, but with convincing Cabernet Sauvignon depth on the nose. Lightly ashy, with a medium to full body and lots of fine cigar box, tobacco, cassis, dark berries, cocoa powder and hints of cumin and fennel. Firm and rich, and the tannins are polished but chalky and reactive, with an incredibly long, juicy finish. This is the 25th vintage of Viñedo Chadwick, and it is definitely one of the best Cabernets from this hot vintage… There is lovely balance that makes it approachable now, but it will be better from 2027.”
100 points, Zekun Shuai, James Suckling (April 2025)
A benchmark vintage, combining purity, structure, and remarkable ageing potential, with the precision and elegance that define Puente Alto.
