Our team travelled to Bordeaux to assess the 2025 vintage first-hand, spending the week tasting extensively from barrel, visiting leading châteaux and speaking directly with producers across both banks. After a number of more challenging En Primeur campaigns, this is a vintage that stands out. At its best, the wines show a compelling balance of ripeness and freshness, with polished tannins, moderate alcohol and clear ageing potential. It is not a vintage to buy blindly, but where terroir and winemaking aligned, the results are genuinely impressive.
