Bright, saturated dark red Vibrant, primary scents of dark raspberry, pomegranate, rose petal, black pepper and licorice Penetrating, primary wine with terrific inner-mouth energy and tension; still a bit youthfully bound-up but not at all hard The slowly rising dark berry, pomegranate and mineral flavors blow by the fine, dusty, noble tannins A superb "true" Charmes in the making, in a relatively dark style And likely to be long-lived

Mid dark cherry red. Very serious nose - not the simple Charmes fruit. Racy and lively - sinewy - not heavy but lots of personality. Bitter cherries and a very dry but not drying finish.
