CRITIC REVIEWS
Stephen Tanzer
(vinified with one-third whole clusters and a very soft extraction): Deep medium ruby. Very ripe aromas of creme de cassis, black cherry and smoke. Fat, chewy wine with lovely depth and fullness to its black fruit flavors. Very ripe but still a bit reduced, even youthfully stunted, and in need of more elevage to show more nuance, clarity and lift. Finishes with substantial ripe tannins and spreading flavors of kirsch and cherry pit.
