CRITIC REVIEWS

The 2022 Meursault Les Genevrières 1er Cru has a mineral, stony nose, a little Perrières-like in style, austere at first but gaining more complexity as it opens in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a slightly honeyed opening, richer and perhaps more Charmes-like in style, with white pepper and tangy marmalade furnishing the persistent finish. Superb, but it needs another couple of years. Bottled under Diam 30. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
