The 2023 Chorey-lès-Beaune Les Beaumonts is de-stemmed, although Dussort mentioned that she could have kept some stems but decided not to, as she was unsure whether they would contribute anything. It takes time to cohere on the nose but reveals attractive red cherry and wild strawberry fruit, quite feisty and lively. The palate is well balanced with a bright opening, fine tannins and a mixture of red and black fruit. Smooth on the finish with just the right amount of acidity, this is a lovely Chorey-lès-Beaune that should give up to a decade of drinking pleasure.
